Job Description

Position Summary

The Associate Procurement Analyst will support the Program Management Office (PMO) in executing government customer requirements.  This position will support day-to-day management of equipment purchasing under the Prime contractor and will work with vendors and customer leads to ensure proper priority of equipment purchases in order to meet delivery requirements.  Purchases will include short turnaround requirements as well as long term large scale purchases.  It will involve the coordination of the procurement of material per direction of government project leads.  


  • Coordination of the procurement of material per direction of government project leads
  • Tracking status of pending procurement activities (to include shipping and delivery dates)
  • Utilization of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to procure required items
  • Complete ERP transactions identifying receipt of all products received
  • Provide administrative actions directly related to property inventory and accountability actions
  • Work closely with Customers to maintain a clear understanding of customer technical requirements
  • Track multiple active procurements via ongoing communication with vendors and suppliers, confirming lead times, and delivery dates
  • Prepare Bill of Material (BOM) per customer requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to build and maintain strong relationships and foster a cohesive and effective team

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Requires 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Active Secret clearance preferred, must be eligibile to obtain a US Government clearance
  • Proficient in Microsoft application with an emphasis on Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in development and completion of assigned tasks
  • Responsiveness to customers
  • Demonstration of excellent customer support and experience working with competing priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
