Job Description

Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC), an Alion company is looking for an Associate Project Manager. The project requires knowledge of cloud computing technologies, program management concepts, and agile software development. Will interface with the government contracting officer representative (COR) and the EITC management team.  Will lead and conduct customer meetings and demonstrations, trade shows, and conferences with public speaking on company capabilities.

Responsible for numerous aspects of the contract to include project execution, meeting or exceeding delivery objectives and milestones, and outstanding cost performance. Also be supporting the developing and execution of project schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating policies, procedures, and goals to team members. Will work with the technical leads to oversee personnel and technical management of all tasks and will ensure that the full range of corporate resources is available to perform the required tasks.

Will assist in performing day-to-day management of the project and develops long-term and strategic objectives to help ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied in future years of the contract. Perform horizontal integration planning, and interfaces frequently with other functional areas such as subcontracts, project control, and personnel security. 

Security Clearance:

  • A current Top Secret level security clearance is required and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Required Skills:

  • B.S. degree in Management, Computer Science or similar.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience managing projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Prior experience working with or supporting the DISA customer.
  • Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Level of Effort (LOE).
  • Must be able to update/ maintain schedule, interact with customers, coordinate financials/ charge codes, must be able to update/ maintain schedule, interact with customers, coordinate financials/ charge codes, etc.
  • Superb communication skills and strong public speaking skills.
  • Strong knowledgeable and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Desired Skills: 

  • Prior experience managing technical contracts and prior technical skills is a huge plus.
  • Prior experience working on an Intelligence project is highly desired.
