Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide strong administrative and professional experience as a Human Capital Generalist, partnering with business operations to serve as a liaison for most of the following areas: new employee onboarding, HRIS reporting, benefits, and/or EEO data collection and reporting.

The ideal candidate will process paperwork for functional area(s) according to established procedures; prepare internal employee communications regarding such matter as compensation, benefits, or company policies and administer various Human Capital plans and programs, such as new hire orientation and the performance management process.

The ideal candidate will:

Provide basic administration of the Human Capital function to include personnel file management (online and hard copy); new employee orientation and associated logistics.  

Assist with the implementation and administration of business group HC activities to effectively meet strategic goals and objectives.

Assist in ensuring the ongoing maintenance of an effective and accurate payroll and HRIS for all employees.

Work with other members of HC staff to ensure EEO/AA/OFCCP compliance and the provision of all HC services.

Assist in policy interpretation and process implementation on general routine benefit, payroll and other HC actions

The ideal candidate:

Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite with strong working knowledge in Excel

Must be proficient in PeopleSoft and working knowledge of Tableau

Must be able to multitask with attention to detail and honor deadlines

Must have good time management skills

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have good presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills

Must be able to review and interpret organizational policies effectively to new employees

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 2 years HC experience in government contracting or industrial-related industries.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 4 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.
