Under general supervision, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring complete property accountability and documentation for the FLRAA. Serve as the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) / Global Combat Support System– Army (GCSS-A) focal point for inputs to ensure that all FLRAA assets are properly accounted for, laterally transferred, and documented for the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) product office.

This position will support the PEO Aviation FLRAA office in Huntsville, AL. FLRAA is a Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program and the Army's third modernization priority. PM FLRAA is tasked with developing, testing, procuring, fielding, and maintaining the FLRAA Weapon System.

This position is contingent on a contract award expected on or about February 1, 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities  

Responsible for data base maintenance and input of requirements for the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for FLRAA. Operation and reconciliation of the Catalogue Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) database.

Maintain/update the COLTS and DPAS data bases

Input PBUSE/GCCS-A accounting for FLRAA

Prepare manual documentation related to property accountability

Prepare desktop and internal operations SOPs for day to day operations and property accountability procedures.

Might serve as a supervisor for less experienced logistics specialist contractors

Performs additional duties as required

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.  5-7 years property accountability experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Working knowledge of Property Book/Supply procedures

Proficient knowledge of the following Supply and Property Accountability functions: AR 710-1 Centralized Inventory Management of the Army Supply System; AR 710-2 Supply Policy Below the National Level; AR 735-5 Property Accountability Policies; AR 740-26 Physical Inventory Control; DA PAM 710-2-1 Using Unit Supply System: Manual Procedures; DA PAM 710-2-2 Supply Support Activity Supply System: Manual Procedures; DA PAM 735-5 Property Accountability Procedures and Financial Liability Officers Guide

Effective customer and organizational level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products, Sharepoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
