Job Description

Alion Science and Technology is looking for a Procurement Technician to support Strike Systems Program Office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Experience:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of government procurement technician experience – with two years within the last five years.
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Contracting Officer (CO)  
  • Prepare contracts and modifications; distribute contract documentation
  • Provide database support and computer applications
  • Support contract closeout
  • Collect data for audit and/or report requests
  • Coordinate with other Government agencies
  • Coordinate with the Defense Financial Accounting Services (DFAS)
  • Create, retrieve and request contracting reports
  • Produce copies of acquisition documentation
  • Prepare source selection material
  • Track contract milestones

  • Knowledgeable of compliance with:
  • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS)
  • Air Force FAR Supplements (AFFARS)
  • Mandatory Procedures (MP)
  • Informational Guidance (IG)

  • Experience in creating procurement documents and supporting products using the Microsoft office tool suite as well as using standard USAF contracting tools to include:
    • Contract Writing System (ConWrite)
    • FedBizOpps
    • Electronic Document Access (EDA)
    • Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG)
    • AF Data Services
