Job Description

Program Managment Analyst will support NSWC Corona Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) onsite in Norfolk, Virginia.

This position is a multi-discipline position which will support the Program Management Office (PMO) of the Prime Contractor for the NCTE.  This position will support day to day contract administration for deliverables, management briefing materials, PMO training tracking, and general administrative duties. 

In this position you will:

  • Compile inputs from project leads for Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
  • Submit and track Scientific Technical Information (STI) deliverables
  • Compile Program Monthly Review (PMR) briefing materials, attend PMR and record and distribute notes.
  • Review project deliverables and work with other divisional Program/Project Administrators to ensure timely delivery.
  • Other general administrative duties as required (i.e. support new hire orientations, meeting minutes)

Technical duties:

  • Support Sharepoint site, maintain employee database.                                 
  • Support Atlassian Confluence PMO space.                                                 

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent MS Office skills, proficient in Excel               
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision and can take charge of tasks.
  • Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting.
  • Effective organizational skills.  

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline plus 2 years of directly related experience in technical program planning, administration, budgets, and development. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for comparable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

Assists in the preparation of management plans and reports.                                                                       

Coordinates schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order review, briefings/presentations, and IPR preparation.                                                                          

Performs analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures.

Responsible for developing, drafting, writing, and editing reports, briefs, speeches, proposals, and other documents in support of a client's requirements.

Interfaces with personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records and files, provides end user support, and performs general administrative duties.
