Alion’s expertise in wireless communication is unrivaled.  This includes 50+ years’ of experience performing complex RF Engineering analysis for DoD customers, civilian government agencies, and commercial companies worldwide.  Our expertise in collecting, analyzing, and formatting spectrum data, including RF measurement, frequency assignment, spectrum certification, LiDAR, and other geo-referenced data, enables us to produce refined RF modeling and simulation tools and applications with the reliability and precision needed to assure spectrum access and control.  Alion’s analysis-driven tools support diverse tasks such as spectrum forensics and deconfliction, testing for coverage amid urban clutter, and antenna site planning.  Alion's Radio Frequency and Electromagnetic Spectrum Engineering Directorate (RESED) offers a variety of work, from projects supporting international satellite coordination to countering IEDs.  Our work is increasingly important in a world that depends on well-coordinated, interference-free spectrum access.

We are seeking an experienced Program Management Analyst as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of project administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Manager
  • Provides support to the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects through its life cycle
  • Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables
  • Briefs management on the status of action items and metrics to track contract performance
  • Coordinates projects; develops system for data collection, reporting criteria and records; researches and compiles statistics and data for projects; may assist in writing narratives for reports
  • Monitors project timeline; tracks document submissions; creates, monitors and maintains audit files. Identifies, communicates and resolves risks. Identifies and resolves issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the project
  • For program compliance, designs and implements procedures to fulfill project objectives and criteria; may prepare memorandums; works with agencies to resolve concerns and issues
  • Prepares monthly variance reports with associated footnotes. Evaluates and monitors the performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that program implementation is on target

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' Degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in basic finance
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Effective organizational skills
  • US Citiizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
