Alion is seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to support an active contract at Kirtland AFB, NM. Alion is a key provider of quick response technology assessments with a five-year contract to provide support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense with work primarily at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Our multi-discipline staff provides a broad range of engineering and technical services, including technology demonstrations and assessments, laboratory and field experiments, and integrated research and analyses.  The PM is the focal point for client activity, and manage the cost, schedule, and performance of assigned client projects. The PM is responsible for the development of new projects and the management of existing projects.

The Program Manager will:

• Collaborate with project analyst to write and submit test and evaluation reports
• Ensuring customer goals and reporting requirements are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance in accordance with the contract
• Managing program personnel to successfully achieve technical and financial program objectives
• Seeking to increase revenue by remaining alert to new business opportunities or expansion of business with the customer and advising senior operations management
• Creating and managing long-term goals
• Developing a budget and operating plan for the program
• Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
• Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance
• Developing and manage schedules

Requirements:

• Military experience and/or work experience in DoD Combined or Joint Service environments is considered a plus.
• Previous Special Operations experience desired
• Masters Degree, or Senior Service School
• Test & Evaluation experience
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing Test & Evaluation Programs
• Current Top Secret/SCI
