Job Description

Alion's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) group is seeking a Associate Program Plan Analyst to support the largest task order in Alion history. The task order supports the Remote Sensing Center (RSC)–National Capital Region (NCR) and its mission partners to enhance and expand existing ISR
capabilities. Specifically, the Department of Defense (DoD), Non-DoD Federal Departments and Agencies, and the Intelligence Community needs to mitigate asymmetric threats in support of tactical elements deployed in various Areas of Responsibility (AOR). This includes projects to develop, demonstrate and evaluate
platform cyber systems, weapon systems and communication mission systems used for information collection and dissemination in order to detect, identify, assess, exploit or neutralize threats to the U.S. and its interests. The threats are not limited to counterintelligence, but include cyberwarfare, cyberterrorism and protection of
critical infrastructure. Many of these projects require an extremely fast turn-around to meet mission schedules and objectives and include requirements for logistics management and integration services for the US Government at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.

Position Summary
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of project administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, technical writing, SharePoint site maintainance and other related duties in support of the program management office, PMO Manager, Deputy PM, PMO Manager and project PMs .

In this role you will be responsible for all or any combination of the below tasking together with the Program Management Office Team.

Technical Writing:
• Excellent writing and editing skills with comprehensive knowledge of correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage of the English language.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts and solutions into multiple types of documents tailored to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to independently research, organize, write, edit and produce required documentation.  Willingness to learn new concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to obtain information necessary to produce clear, readable documents to be used by technical and nontechnical personnel.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and communicate project blockers.
• Experience ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style.
• Adept at introducing creative ideas for documentation and taking the lead in construction of innovative publications.
• Outstanding attention to detail when constructing new copy and editing existing print material.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth experience with MS Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
SharePoint Knowledge and Skills:
• Configuration, permission, and role management (i.e. assign roles to end-users, assign permissions to portal content, and administer, manage and maintain content).
• Monitor enterprise portal operations and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Manage SharePoint 2010/2013 sites and sub sites.
• Develop, deploy, and test applications as required.
• Establishing, utilizing, and maintaining sites.
• Assist staff with the implementation of new SharePoint applications.
• Perform one-on-one end user training when requested.
• Provide troubleshooting support to SharePoint Administrators and Users to resolve operational incidents.
• Troubleshoot end user issues to root cause and complete and/or coordinate fixes.
• Implement solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint features and capabilities.
• Manage and maintain SharePoint collaboration knowledge-base
• Assist with the development and provision of training to end users
Monthly MSR requests to individual project leads
Compilation of status reports and financial data
Issuance of work authorizations for all project teams
Assist with contract deliverable collection, compilation, distribution and tracking
Assists in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and other technical documentation.
Contract invoice tracking
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
High attention to detail and organization
Ability to clearly communicate among all levels
Other overflow tasking as needed/requested
This is a highly dynamic and demanding role and tasking may be adjusted as needed.

Education and Experience

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 2 years directly related experience working in support of a Program Manager in the DoD setting is preferred. In some cases, work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Knowledge of OASIS, RSC, GSA and FEDSIM contracts a plus

 MS Office suite Excel, Word, SharePoint required with MS Project skills desired.

Our ideal person will have execllant writing skills and some demonstrated technical  writing skills
