Position Summary

Manage the customer’s cyber and other projects. Have a deep understanding of project management principles to include: create clear and attainable objectives; build requirements; manage stakeholders, team(s), quality, constraints of cost / time / scope, risk, resources, schedule, and conflicts.

Be fluid in the language/execution of DoD cyberspace mission forces and operations. Provide technical and management services to support the 315 Cyberspace Operations Squadron (COS) in establishing and maintaining strategic cyberspace objectives and operations. Enable strategic planning and implementation of programs and projects, to include developing briefings, roadmaps, concept of operations (CONOPS), operating concepts, supporting documents, and facilitating planning sessions

  • Provide 315 COS leadership with analysis, assessments, and recommendations for cyber program requirements
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop strategic planning materials to identify and define processes, requirements, and resource requirements to integrate into 315 COS operations
  • Provide analysis to ensure alignment and synchronization of 315 COS mission priorities with national requirements and assess program requirements to develop comprehensive plans
  • Provide operations planning analysis to support strategic objectives for 315 COS, as needed
  • Review and provide comments on operational policies, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), directives, and Rules of Engagement (ROE) for exercise support for 315 COS
  • Review Higher Headquarters (HHQ) operational policies, directives, ROE, and other documents
  • Provide a Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) for reviews when comments or corrections are required
  • Provide operational and strategic support for projects and efforts to modernize, improve, and sustain 315 COS mission and objectives
  • Provide written documentation and briefings after technical forums

Job Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI – With Poly
  • Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in a related discipline plus a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience; PMP (preferred)
  • Key Requirements: Self-starter; autonomous employee able to execute responsibilities within Commander’s Intent (“Fire-and-Forget”); able to identify key stakeholders in a complex military and government environment; capable of informal team development (identification of members, recruitment, and leadership); adept at Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) coordination and communication; Fluent in cyberspace mission operations

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience
