Job Description

Position Summary:

The Program Manager manages supports two programs.  The first is an FAA program that supports staff maintaining FAA control tower simulators nationally.  The second is a security risk analysis program which deploys CounterMeasures(R) Risk Analysis software for a variety of federal, state and commercial customers.  Position is based in Alexandria, VA.  Some work-from-home will be considered, but on-site presence is required in the DC area.  Limited domestic and international travel may also required.


FAA program: Applicant will be the primary manager for this program.  Responsibilities include:

  • Administratively supporting the geographically-distributed team
  • Interfacing with recruiting staff to fill team vacancies, as needed
  • Maintaining relationship with customer
  • Supervising technical staff to maintain FAA support web portal
  • Maintaining financial accountability and reporting of assigned tasks in accordance with customer requirements

CounterMeasures program:  The applicant will be a supporting manager for this program.  Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the primary program manager in development of project plans, research papers, presentations, monthly reports, etc.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to project managers within the program in the development of design concepts, storyboards, assessment datasets, etc.
  • Providing quality reviews of administrative deliverables
  • Assisting in business development for federal and commercial customers
  • Participating in security risk assessments and assessment software training for clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of experience in security risk analysis
  • Direct experience managing and supervising projects of a similar nature
  • Familiarity with software development processes
  • Must be US Citizen; no sponsorship available

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CounterMeasures Risk Analysis software
  • Security management experience within the Federal government, DoD preferred
  • Familiarity with agile software development process

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong team player with the ability to both collaborate and to take initiative and work well independently
  • Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines


Must have a secret clearance and be eligible and willing to submit for a top secret clearance
