Job Description

Alion Science and Technology is looking for an individual to support security functions at the customer location. The primary function will be to serve as an escort for uncleared individuals into classified areas. It is a part-time position and hours are flexible but will vary from week to week.

Ideal candidate will be able to:

• Escorts visitors to workspaces, rest rooms, and in transit while obtaining tools and materials.
• Observe visitors outside in the vicinity of entrances to restricted spaces.
• Communicate with visitors, Alion personnel and government personnel, as required, to facilitate accomplishment of work.
• Assist with signing in visitors and contractors to the facility.
• Verify proper badge has been issued to visitor(s).
• Maintain positive control of visitors throughout the day.
• Must be able to climb multiple stairs throughout the day.

Requirements:

• Minimum SECRET security clearance required with ability to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Must be able to walk back and forth throughout large facility on a regular basis.
