Position Summary:

The Signature Reduction (SR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides advice, recommendations and supports the development of agile solutions, consisting of mitigation strategies for all aspects of SR to include, research, planning, advisory, POI development and design, and instructional delivery.

The applicant will operate in a Joint and or DOD unique environment.

The SME will have served in an SR position demonstrating experience providing support to National, DOD, Component, or IC level organizations including inter-agency.


Maintains and complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.

May provide direction, training, and assistance to other project staff, as a senior expert in a particular field of endeavor.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Position may be required to support multiple mission partners, Incumbent must be able to travel all points within designated Customer location(s) on an as required basis.


Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 8 years of relevant experience across SR functional area.  Experience may be substituted for education.

Advanced level experience with DOD mission and functions

Experience as a training instructor

Experience developing and delivering executive level briefings

Ability to lead group level teams to work lessons learned, formulate plans, and develop TTPs

Advance level experience with operations support and risk mitigation

US Citizenship required and MUST have a current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility and CI-Poly

 Highly Desired Training: with Completion in the following areas:

  • Advance Planner’s Course or equivalent
  • Due Diligence course or equivalent
  • Advanced Technicians Course
