Job Description




  • Daily support to Director of Acquisition and Contracts under the SUB DAC Office in TEAM SUBS
  • Integrated Schedule configuration control for DAC Activity and Events (MS Project and MS Outlook meeting management)
  • Training/Learning (e.g., TEAM TALKs and ad-hoc workforce learning sessions) facilitation, event setup, and evaluation tracking (also managing attendance logs with multiple looks at data – by office, competency, etc.)
  • Acquisition and Contract Improvement Plan Management and day to day oversight (to include performance metrics (e.g., balanced scorecard), POA&M updates, and IMS)-major component of the position
  • Action Item Tracking and Resolution (Outside PEO, within PEO, and within DAC Team)
  • DAC Management Brief configuration management (Weekly Meeting and Bi-Weekly ED agendas)
  • InFusion, IDEASTREAM and iNAVSEA updates to SUB DAC related websites throughout the fiscal year to include website improvements
  • Research and understand max online tool capability to use in DAC office to include EDW use and other digital products in the Federal Government and NAVSEA Enterprise
  • Internal and External to PEO coordination help as needed to close actions, work topics, and collect inputs
  • Slide development on various topics as needed
  • Regular involvement as cc: on emails related to DAC business for awareness and workload management
  • Strong Acquisition experience (5-10 years+) in order to provide consultation where needed (Program office skills required)
  • Meeting support and coverage where needed
  • Team workload management tracking to help assess resource needs for DAC’s yearly briefs to SUBS leadership
  • Acquisition documentation review coverage as needed (bigger policy guidance and well as PMO documentation on specific efforts)
  • Offer new ideas and concept that benefit the business of TEAM Submarine Acquisition and Contracts

Education / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree  and 5 to 7 years of application experience.
  • A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
  • Understanding of program offices and PEOs (5+ years of PMO/PEO equivalent experience, open to different competencies for this role-Engineering, Program Management/Acquisition, Financial, Contracts)
  • Organized and good with time management in fast paced environment
  • Innovative thinker who can work independently, but excels at team projects where needed
  • Strong use of MS Office and other tools in relations to metrics and data management
  • Skill with policy and its’ implementation is preferred
  • Good communicator across offices, strong writing skills, and developer of presentations
