Sr. Program/Project Administrator

The ideal candidate for this position will provide financial analysis, procurement, and office support in the tracking, administration, and completion of financial accounting and procurement requirements.  The ideal candidate will track key project tasks, monitor project deliverables and timelines, organize project related meetings and develop reports and other deliverables as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess a self-motivated work style and the ability to follow direction to complete tasks with minimal supervision.  The ideal candidate must be a creative thinker as well as possess solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Africa AOR ILS Program Manager, the ideal candidate will assist in creating, maintaining, and overseeing the planning and execution of moderately complex programs, including associated finances, subcontracts, and procurement documentation. 

The ideal candidate will possess 10 years of experience in government and commercial contracts, program finance, and procurement support.

The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of program financial Estimates at Completion (EACs) and meet deadlines for submission requirements.

The ideal candidate will provide financial analysis including, but not limited to cost estimates, what-if analysis, schedule predictions/forecasts, and supporting budgeting trends to ensure smooth contract execution and accurate cost controls.

The ideal candidate will develop, draft, write, and edit Monthly Status Reports, briefs and other documentation in the support of customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining and reviewing material quotes from subcontractors and vendors; including obtaining competitive bids, sole source justifications, and adhering to procurement standards/compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will create and modify Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for subcontracts and material purchases as required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor invoices.

The ideal candidate will interface with the program team to coordinate meetings and events as well as maintain logs, records, files and other administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.

The ideal candidate will monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Ad-Hoc reporting and in-depth analysis as well as collecting and reviewing financial data from various databases and sources.

The ideal candidate will perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience with DS TATs and OASIS type contracts are a plus.


A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
