Job Description


Administrative support for the NAVSEA PMO Windchill IDE, CDMS, and Team Center by providing user access control, continuous user account validation, conducting user training, conducting system testing, and carrying out content management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide access control and content management for the contractor Shared Drive.
  • Procure and configure PKI Cards, required hardware/software as an LRA agent so users can access government sites and reduce the number of required CACs for contractors.
  • Provide support for the program's IT needs. Including desktop hardware/software installation and troubleshooting, mapping/troubleshooting printers, setup and mapping network drives, and other IT responsibilities as required.
  • Provide Training and support for DCO as well as configuring hardware/software for maximum compatibility.
  • Under general supervision, provides technical guidance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Analyzes moderately complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Writes or updates software specifications.
  • Creates logical data models based on functional requirements.
  • Develops analytical tools for use in the design and redesign of systems.
  • Analyzes systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and reliability characteristics.
  • Prepares or presents reports, formal briefings, business cases analyses and requirements documents.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for comparable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required.
  • Knowledge of server hardware and server configuration is highly desired.
  • Experience with HTML is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures used in systems analysis and design.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after being hired.
