Job Description



Provides Combat Systems Integration technical program support under minimal supervision for

Combat Systems Engineering in PEO IWS 4.0, the AEGIS Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program Office.

Supports the Combat System (C/S) Case Manager for South Korea, in the development and analysis of technical review artifacts, technical documentation, schedules, and action items.

Comments on PEO documentation in preparation for International Meetings and Forums, PARM reviews, technical and releasability reviews of deliverables, FMS Case Management and Contract documentation, and high-level working papers. Prepares meeting minutes and develops PowerPoint presentations for C/S FMS Case Manager's review and applies standard technical concepts, techniques and procedures to provide support for the South Korea KDX-III AEGIS DDG program in technical execution and planning of FMS programs in accordance with DoD and USN policy.

Provides regular supervised and occasional independent interaction with PEO IWS 4.0 customers and provides input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables.

Assists in the analysis of existing systems and the definition, design, and development of new system requirements. Performs basic engineering work in analysis, design, development, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system and technical product development.

Duties often include the collection of information and data, performance of various tests, and the development of technical documents.

Complies with applicable quality and security procedures in the performance of duties. Provides recommendations for improvements to existing quality systems and applicable company procedures and guidelines.



Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree plus 5 to 7 years of related experience. Degree must be in engineering, computer science, mathematics or other STEM-related discipline.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 5 years of applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

An active Secret Clearance within the last two years is required.

Aegis Combat/Weapon Systems experience either in support of a program management office or operational experience is required.

AEGIS Combat Systems Baseline Development experience is a plus.

Retired or former U.S. Navy personnel with AEGIS experience are highly encouraged to apply.
