Responsibilities/Qualification

Position Summary
Under immediate supervision, assists in providing acquisition support by researching acquisition requirements of limited complexity, performing market surveys for potential procurement avenues, and analyzing proposals for applicability to stated functional needs. Works with more experienced Acquisition Analysts to determine procurement strategies to effectively meet program needs in accordance with cost, schedule, and technical requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities          
Provide Program Management support for the LCAC SLEP APM (377J2) and LCAC SLEP Execution Managers (377J21 and 377J22).

Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the LCAC SLEP team including Staff Meetings, TPS reviews, QPM, and other relevant meetings as it pertains to Landing Craft J. Division.

Provide analysis for issues that arise in the LCAC SLEP Program; i.e. late delivery analysis, delay claim analysis, and other availability issues.

Organize and maintain SLEP Program/Availability tracking files/tools on the IDE.

Guarantee LCAC SLEP Managers timely and efficient responses for all urgent tasking.

Ensure new SLEP Contract scheduling deadlines are met for RFP development, release, and contract award.

Ensure a detailed breakdown is provided for LCAC and Ship to Shore Connector Transition Plan issues that arise during availabilities in order to deliver craft by their Contractual Delivery Date.

Ensure Delay Claim Evaluations are completed with minimal Government delay to the SLEP availability.

Ensure QPMs are run effectively with proper detailed briefings from both the Government and SLEP contractor.

Candidate will support customer by delivering the following products/services:

Ensure SLEP correspondence and deliverables are in accordance with Alion's Quality Assurance Program

Support the authoring and review of all LCAC SLEP related fiscal year Business Plan from development to execution.

Provide a detail breakdown of transitioning from LCACs to SSCs.

Assist and provide analysis for issues that arise in the LCAC SLEP Program; i.e. late delivery analysis, delay claim analysis, and other availability issues as needed.

Assist and develop briefings as needed for LCAC SLEP QPM Execution Brief, Contractor Issues Briefs, and Planning Briefs.

Review and provide comments regularly for the PMS377 PEO Highlights, J-Division Calendar, SLEP Metrics, and APM review meetings.

Assist and review MOA, 10 Day Letters, and Incentive Letters for each craft delivery.

Education and Experience 

Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 0 to 2 years of directly related experience.

Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Familiar with government or other contracting environment relating to technical, scientific and analytic services.

Familiar with the DoD acquisition process.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good organizational skills.

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
