Under direct supervision, you will provide support to team leads, project managers and program managers in various departments.  You will assist with the development of plans and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements.   Coordinating with our facility security team and in compliance with the NISPOM, you will also assist in administering the standard aspects of the DOD or other industrial security programs to guarantee conformity with government and company security policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities          

  • Review contractual requirements and participates in defining program requirements.
  • Draft correspondence and prepare presentations
  • Maintain records, information, data and statistics on department activities and may monitor project schedules for management.
  • Prepare reports from spreadsheets and databases.
  • Adhere to administrative procedures and makes recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in escorting uncleared personnel within the secured office areas and ensuring visitors have required badges before entering.
  • Conduct administrative tasks associated with the industrial security operation including: staff briefings/debriefings, employee rosters including subcontractors and maintenance of security containers and associated locks.
  • Ensure compliance with Government regulations affecting the facility.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Lead FSO, management and staff in connection with security matters; enforces security policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for opening/ closing and securing the facility in accordance with the documented procedures. Hourly schedule is subject to fluctuate on a weekly basis based on operational needs; scheduling flexibility is required.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Associate's Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience and at least 2 years related experience. Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications mainly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with the NISPOM.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) a plus.
  • Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) Course Certificate of Completion a plus.
  • Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certificate of Completion a plus.


Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance. Current US Secret Security Clearance a plus.  (Clearance required to begin employment).
