Job Description

Alion is in search of suitable candidate to fulfill an Administrative Division Support  task in the Hampton Roads area.   The position supports the Air Combat Command (ACC) A6 directorate at Langley AFB, VA. The Administrative Support position assists in the purchase and monitoring of office supplies and inventories; manages and monitors organizational email boxes for both Non-Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (NIPR) and Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPR); manages multiple tasks, projects, and schedule de-confliction; the coordination and communications of internal and external tasks; administering, managing and monitoring records management; calendar event management including scheduling meetings for ACC/A6 staff; answering or transferring telephone calls; processing incoming and outgoing mail and fax communications; creating and editing documentation to include memos, email, invoices and reports; supporting travel coordination for events; taking and transcribing meeting minutes/notes; providing support to create, develop, proofread and edit documents and presentations; prioritize and de-conflict tasks and events; perform and present communications research; and finally use the Task Management Tool (TMT) to manage official tasking and correspondence between ACC staff and directorates and other USAF organizations.

The ideal candidate for the Administrative Division Support task has the following Key Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Three (3) years’ experience working in a military office environment with previous Department of Defense related experience within the last 5 years.
  • Three (3) years’ experience using computer MS Office Suite applications tools, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint in creating documents and reports, spreadsheets, presentations and the management of databases within the last 5 years.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in setup and the use of office equipment such as videoconferencing systems, facsimiles, copiers, printers, overhead projectors and other office related equipment within the last 5 years.
  • H.S.Diploma
