Responsibilities/Qualification

  Join MacAulay-Brown team as an All Source Senior Analyst supporting the FBI Counterterrorism Division's (CTD) Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force(FTTTF) effort to provide information that would help to keep individuals and their supporters who may pose threats to national security out of the U.S. or leads to their removal, detention, prosecution, or other action. This effort supports FBI field operations by conducting bulk and targeted data analysis.  All source analysts will be required to provide expertise in massive data analysis (query tools, link tools, and visualization), data relationship matching analysis, and the validation and evaluation of information used in the analysis.Candidate will serve as a site analytical leadership representing Program Manager, interact with government lead as appropriate. Candidate will be expected to document and prepare high quality reports and ensure accuracy, timeliness, proper coordination.  Candidate must have strong writing and presentation skills; must be able to collect, manipulate and perform analysis of intelligence data. Candidates will be expected to develop and learn new techniques; make judgements and recommendations to government officials.  Selected individuals must be able to work effectively in teams and work collaboratively in a team environment.Candidates are required to have TS/SCI clearance. Positions are located in Crystal City,VA.

All Source Senior Analysts shall exhibit demonstrated capability to perform the following tasks:



       
  • Serve as a site analytical lead representing Program Manager; interact with government lead as appropriate.

  •    
  • Validation of information in intelligence products containing information and/or data from numerous government and public data sources;

  •    
  • Ability to determine the credibility, value, significance, and relevancy of information from different data sources to produce clear, concise, and timely analytical products;

  •    
  • Independently conduct detailed analysis to produce timely analytical products that are disseminated to FBI field offices, Joint Terrorism Task Forces, and other entities within FBI Headquarters;

  •    
  • Analyze and evaluate intelligence against a wide range of data sources;

  •    
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and present data to produce reports and draw conclusions;

  •    
  • Provide results and make recommendations based on their analytical research;

  •    
  • Develop concepts of operations for threat processing and analytical initiatives;

  •    
  • Development of functional requirements to support threat processing and analytical initiatives;

  •    
  • Utilize technology and data exploitation techniques to provide both proactive and reactive support;

  •    
  • Conduct strategic research and develop innovative technical and/or analytical solutions to combine terrorist indicators with other data sources to support both terrorism and other NSB investigations or initiatives; and

  •    
  • Knowledge and demonstrated competence working with the following:
       

             
    • Software applications (Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.),

    •        
    • Public source databases,

    •        
    • Analytical tools (Analyst Notebook, Palantir, etc.),

    •        
    • Background in counterterrorism and/or law enforcement is beneficial. All source analysis experience is similarly beneficial, and

    •        
    • Experience with law enforcement and intelligence systems.

Minimum Education & Experience



       
  • Master's degree and 8 years analytical relevant experience;

  •    
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years counterterrorism experience.

  • Ability to lead and manage analytical teams
