Job Description



Alion Science and Technology is seeking a mid-level All Source Analyst to perform detailed analysis, and engineering assessments incorporating critical information necessary to support intelligence, acquisition and test communities. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast pace Defense Intelligence environment researching, analyzing, and producing intelligence products and research papers using a variety of intelligence sources. The candidate will produce, present and defend analytic positions and produce intelligence assessments with minimal supervision.  The analyst must have experience working with DoD intelligence activities and be familiar with the Intelligence Community.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Use All Source analytic techniques to produce finished intelligence products 
  • Fuse and produce technical information supporting critical intelligence parameters to satisfy mission area analysis and customer requirements
  • Utilize extensive background in technical analysis and production experience to produce multi-intelligence analysis results
  • Analyze, and fuse finished and unfinished multi-source intelligence to provide answers to production requirements
  • Establish and synchronize efforts harmoniously with customer’s analysis team(s) to produce comprehensive threat analysis including but not limited to, Electronic Warfare, Weapons Systems, Command Control and Communications, Information Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Integrated Air Defense Systems
  • Assist government analysts and ensure customer remains apprised of current and developing information and production activities to support the customer’s analytical efforts
  • Create innovative solutions to analytical and information shortfalls.
  • Analytically support the intelligence cycle, including: requirements, collection, processing, analysis, dissemination, feedback.
  • Utilize a variety of analytic tools: Analyst Notebook, Palantir, IC databases, Microsoft Office, standard DoD analytic databases.


Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a current/active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance. U.S. citizenship is required
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical intelligence analysis and/or all-source research, analysis and production
  • Knowledge of Air Force organizations, intelligence community organizations, regulations and DIAP production processes
  • Bachelor or master’s degree with 3-6 years of intelligence analysis experience, or specialized training and 5-8 years intelligence analysis experience, or equivalent intelligence/ academic experience.
  • Mid-level personnel must be able to work independently with moderate Government oversight. Candidate must be capable of providing comprehensive and completed products that may require multiple minor revisions and/or editing.
