Job Description

Under direct supervision, provides administrative support to project and program managers in various departments as part of NSWC Corona’s Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE).

This position is a multi-discipline position that supports day to day contract administration for deliverables, develops plans and schedules to meet contractual and project requirements as well as other administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities          

Performs analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures.

Collects and compiles data from multiple sources to prepare monthly reports.

Reviews project deliverables and works with other divisional Program/Project Administrators to ensure timely delivery.

Assists in escorting uncleared personnel within the secured office areas and ensuring visitors have required badges before entering.

Conducts tasks associated with the industrial security operation including: staff briefings/debriefings, employee rosters including subcontractors and maintenance of security containers and associated locks.

Ensure compliance with Government regulations affecting the facility; maintains records and logs as needed.

Interfaces with management to coordinate meetings, conferences and events.

Responsible for closing and securing the facility in accordance with the documented procedures. Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs; flexibility is required.

Serves as an internal resource for general inquiries and resolution of problems.

Performs additional administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Associates degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus 2-3 years of directly related experience in government contracting, program administration and reporting. Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Excellent detail, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.                                                                                                 Strong multitasker with ability to prioritize multiple time sensitive requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications mainly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with the NISPOM a plus.

Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) Course Certificate of Completion a plus.


Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.

Current US Secret Security Clearance preferred.
