Responsibilities/Qualification

Position Summary

Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through user needs and an understanding of navy third party planning.  Uses financial, analytical, and/or data management/modeling experience to populate and maintain databases for third party planning resources.  May provide input on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, and change management projects.  Assists in developing problem resolution options based on knowledge of the third party planning method to help develop viable options.


Duties and Responsibilities

Defines client needs and assists with developing a plan/proposal for delivery of project.

Analyzes an organization’s goals and objects and offers solutions based on industry best practices to produce measurable and sustainable performance improvements.  

Participates in the overall functional strategic planning.

Provides on-going support to the customer on organizational programs and projects in area of navy third party planning.

Collaborates with all levels of customers and with company management.

Conducts research on existing processes and makes appropriate recommendations. 

Demonstrates the ability to self-start, work independently, and work well with a team.

Demonstrates excellent writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual and analytical reports for clients.

Exhibits a very high level of attention to detail.

Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel programs.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years of relevant work experience. 

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 7 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

      
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
     
Knowledge of the client industry, customers, organization, and business objectives as well as problem solving capability.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

An active secret security clearance is required.
