Responsibilities/Qualification

 

Alion is looking for high energy, proactive civil engineering support to ensure the USAF Weapons School (USAFWS) facilities and locations present a professional appearance at all times.The United States Air Force Weapons School is the “show palace” of the Air Force, requiring a professional presence at all times.  This professional presence includes suitable attire, acceptable manners and an understanding of the rank structure of the military, both U.S. and foreign.  The USAFWS hosts military and political personnel from a variety of allied countries and it is of the utmost importance that all R&K personnel maintain a professional presence at all times in and around the USAFWS to include facilities appearance and functionality.

Responsibiilties

  • Assist the lead CE analyst support to the USAFWS
  • Provide service in support of CE projects within and for the USAFWS
  • Maintain a daily journal consisting of
    • Tasks assigned with projected completion dates
    • Meetings attended with significant notes from meetings pertaining to CE aspects\
    • Tasks accomplished
    • Status of incomplete projects
    • Notes on conversations regarding any and all USAFWS projects
  • Under immediate supervision, supports civil engineering projects
  • Supports senior technical personnel and project managers within own organization in various technical activities related to system and technical product development. Receives immediate supervision from management as well as technical guidance and training from the more experienced technical staff.
  • Complies with applicable quality and security procedures in the performance of duties. May provide recommendations for improvements to existing quality systems and applicable company procedures and guidelines. 
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High School Graduate
  • Knowledge of the USAFWS physical structures (buildings and locations)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Basic Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principals, methods, and techniques within a specific area of expertise.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software.
  • Basic internal team communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Will be required to maintain a clearance level.
