Responsibilities/Qualification

 

United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia. This position supports USAFCENT Operations Center in support of USAFCENT/Chief of Staff.

The Operations Center contract support position provides consulting, advisory and analytical services for the day-to-day management of the USAFCENT Command Operations Center (COC) with a focus on monitoring, analyzing, reporting and coordinating USAFCENT mission activities in the Area of Operations on a 24/7 basis will also support of two personnel during all shifts to support directed requirements. Additional tasks and responsibilities required by this position include but are not limited to;

  1.      Provides PWS task-level oversight and supervision of assigned tasks. Executes PWS requirements and interfaces directly with respective Government representative.  Supervises personnel assigned to task, conducts annual performance reviews, and manages assigned employee time cards.
  2.      The daily workflow process in each work center is managed primarily by the task lead. The TL provides necessary oversight and direction of their assigned personnel. They prepare contract reporting inputs to MacB’s on site lead (Greg Wilt) and review task work products
  3.      May participate in candidate interviews as part of the hiring of new/replacement CoC analysts
  4.      Build the CoC schedule or supervise/manage those who do.
  5.      Other tasks as requested by the MacB site lead, or PM for specific short term projects (i.e. review of COC KSAs due to a Govt request).



Security Clearance

 

Requirements:

  1. Three years’ experience in a numbered Air Force or component command staff or higher level or other service equivalent.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in any subject or have at least five (5) years’ experience on a numbered AF or component command staff or higher level or other service equivalent.
  3. Have one year experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications/e-mail systems or the equivalent
