Job Description



Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC), a MacAulay-Brown, Inc. company is looking for an experienced Cyber Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA) Analyst and Subject Matter Expert (SME).  The CEMA SME will work with a team of data scientists and software engineers to develop CEMA and Electronic Warefare (EW) products that enhance tactical and operational situational awareness and decision making.  As part of this team, the CEMA SME will perform the following duties:

  • Use the Army/DISA Big Data Platform to identify anomalies and prioritize CEMA threats
  • Develop requirements for data science analytics that are applied to multiple CEMA datasources to provide enhanced capabilities to operationally-relevant mission sets
  • Develop requirements for analytical tools that use big data to enhance operational CEMA/EW signals collection, analysis, and visualization
  • Develop requirements, advise the design of, and evaluate software tools that support signals intelligence analytic techniques and workflows
  • Nominate CEMA datasets and feeds for inclusion into a CEMA/EW analytic platform
  • Advise on the creation of realistic synthetic EW data sets
  • Supervise integration of CEMA and EW data sets and feeds into the Big Data Platform and other systems
  • Review and test engineering designs related to CEMA analytics, visualization, decision-making, and mission planning

Security Clearance:

  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years experience conducting Cyberspace Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance operations
  • 3-5 years experience with Electronic Warfare Support (Threat warning, collection, direction finding)
  • 3-5 years experience in EW hardware component design, integration, and/or operation. Includes digital signal processors, digital receivers/exciters, waveform generators, etc.
  • Knowledge of DoD EW sensors, related data, and collection platforms
  • Experience with Signals Intelligence Analysis, Synthesis, and Reporting

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline is highly desired.
  • Experience applying EW or CEMA tactics, techniques, and procedures to military operations at the tactical level
  •  Experience with software defined radio
