Position Summary

This is a 67 CW Wing Staff position and experience/knowledge should be commensurate with headquarters-level support.  The VTC Scheduler/Technician will be responsible for videoconferencing scheduling/coordinating and videoconferencing and audio/visual systems integration and operation for 67 CW staff.


  • Ensure users are properly briefed on policies and procedures for use of the facilities prior to use
  • Resolve situations when customer's desired use of facilities conflicts with established guidelines
  • Make, or authorize, minor changes or adjustments to established policies and procedures to resolve administrative problems
  • evelop/maintain schedules for use of facilities and maintains master schedule; review schedules and work with customers to resolve conflicts
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling of off-site conferences and meetings for the wing staff
  • Troubleshoot technical problems to include internal no sound or video, control system functions and integration issues, connectivity issues and operational problems
  • Verify and perform weekly user level maintenance and other scheduled maintenance procedures
  • Identify problems and submit appropriate trouble tickets, and ensure system is fixed appropriately
  • Provide written SOPs, checklists procedures, tasks, binders, training sessions and calendar for the 67 CW Command Wing staff

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with five (5) years of experience or MS with three (3) years of experience; or the equivalent combination of education; professional training; or work experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible VTC support experience comparable to work performed as a mid-senior level VTC technician (preferred); 3-5 years supporting DoD/AF organization (preferred)
  • Basic networking; room based audio-visual and telepresence systems; Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint
