Job Description



Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC) is looking for a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) who will support an DISA or AirForce customer by providing leadership of a cloud big data pilot program. The program requires knowledge of cloud computing technologies, program management concepts, and agile software development. The DPM will interface with the government contracting officer representative (COR) and the EITC management team.

The DPM is responsible for numerous aspects of the contract to include program execution, meeting or exceeding delivery objectives and milestones, and outstanding cost performance. The DPM will also be solely in charge of formulating and enforcing work standards, developing and executing project schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, communicating policies, procedures, and goals to team members. The DPM will work with the technical leads to oversee personnel and technical management of all tasks, and will ensure that the full range of corporate resources is available to perform the required tasks. The DPM provides management oversight of all program personnel, both EITC and subcontractors, ensuring the highest quality of task completion and deliverables in accordance with the contract.

Required Skills:

  • B.S. degree in Management, Computer Science or similar.
  • 3-12 years experience working in a PMO office providing support to programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Must be able to update/ maintain schedule, interact with customers, coordinate financials / charge codes, deliver technical presentations to customers, etc.
  • Direct experience in supporting multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity including Firm Fixed Price (FFP).
  • Superb communication skills and strong public speaking skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations as needed.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is highly desired.
  • Prior experience working with or supporting the Air Force or DISA customers is desired.
  • Prior experience managing technical contracts and prior technical skills is a huge plus.
  • Prior experience working on an Intelligence program is highly desired.


Security Clearance

  • A current government security clearance is highly desired, but not required on day one.  Will be processed for a Secret level clearance and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
