Qualifications

Summary:

Provides technical support to the Joint Staff with enterprise architecture development and analysis, to include applying enterprise architecture processes and products to support strategic planning, inform resource decision making, identify process improvement opportunities, establish and enforce standards, and guide security and cybersecurity requirements. This will establish a foundation for transitioning from the existing environment to a desired joint information environment (JIE). The Enterprise Architect shall develop enterprise architecture (EA) products that meet DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) specifications and include ‘as-is,’ ‘to-be,’ ‘fit-for-purpose’ and transition planning DoDAF viewpoints. The EA products should leverage Federal Enterprise Architecture Reference Models, where appropriate.

Requirements:

• BS or BA from an accredited college or university required
• Must have 5+ years of experience in developing and analyzing Enterprise Architecture processes and products
• Have at least 5+ years’ of experience working with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) architectures to include the complete range of views and viewpoints
• Must have 5+ years’ of experience with the Business Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Transition Plan, Service Oriented Architecture, and the Business Mission Area Federation Strategy and Roadmap
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Possess working knowledge of JCIDS procedures, doctrine and polices
• Have an establish knowledge of and experience in one or more EA tools such as SPARX EA, MagicDraw, System Architect, and similar tools
• Have an established knowledge of and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Professional to include “Visio”, mid-level experience desired
• Have an established knowledge of and experience in the use of  Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), mid-level experience desired
• Experience working in a military environment desired but not required


• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Less than 10% travel
