Responsibilities/Qualification

Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to act as the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) coordination point for management of integration and activation of the F-35 at United States, International Partner nation and potential future Foreign Military Sales F-35 bases and facilities.  This position requires the analyst to participate in working groups, technical interchange meetings, site activation task force teams (SATAFs), transition task force meetings, readiness and supportability reviews, as well as program level reviews and updates as needed. 

Conduct research on various topics; develop reports in the form of research papers, white papers, decisional recommendation positions. The analyst will support and articulate direction and positions provide by Government leadership as a representative of the US & International Logistics Solutions Integrated Product Team.

As the organizational expert in the field, consults with management in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective and economical support for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems. Includes the gathering and analysis of information on highly complex product plans and project objectives, providing tracking and status reports, and support for ensuring distribution and delivery commitments.

Duties:

Analyzes the most complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports to determine requirements.

Assesses and recommends the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve difficult problems.

Prepares and presents reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings to management and customers as needed.

Researches state of the art logistics technology advances and applies appropriate technology in order to improve logistics processes.

Consults with management in resolving highly complex and usual logistics issues.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance

Experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics planning

Bachelors Degree plus 10+ years of related experience required.BA/BS Degree is required. An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. An Associate's Degree plus two (2) additional years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

DoD Weapon Systems Acquisition experience required.

Secret security clearance required.
