Your work will support objectives to provide outstanding service and respond with efficiency and accuracy to stakeholders or team members. Position Summary

Expert level designer is responsible for designing and developing proposal graphics and other graphic material the Proposal Center is responsible for producing (reports, cut sheets, briefs). The Designer works with the Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, Proposal Coordinator, and Technical Writers in designing and developing graphics in response to commercial and U.S. government solicitation requirements.

Graphic design and development activities include conceptual development, design, production, edits, and color palette development. The Graphic Designer develops proposal graphics in compliance with all RFP requirements and associated documents.

The Graphic Designer follows the approved graphics process and maintains configuration control of all proposal graphics. The Graphic Designer participates in standups and proposal meetings as required.


Duties and Responsibilities

Performs all graphic activities as assigned by the Proposal Manager and Proposal Coordinator.

Reviews draft and final RFPs and related documents and develops compliant proposal graphics.

Develops graphics for corporate initiatives.

Maintains version control of all graphics and incorporates any amendment changes to proposal graphics.

Prepares proposal covers and CD labels for binding.

Assists with proposal production as required.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a Graphics Design, Marketing or a related discipline plus 10 to 12 years of directly related experience.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including In Design, Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software required.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for comparable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by
market survey data.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

In-depth understanding of compliance with all sections of governmental RFPs, creating graphics templates, and producing high-quality graphics under tight deadlines.

Expert knowledge and proficiency in desktop publishing and drawing systems.

High knowledge of industry relevant multimedia software.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and design skills.

Ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
