MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) is currently looking for a Guidance, Navigation, and Controls Engineer who will be responsible for:

  • The candidate shall assist with the development of integrated guided munitions guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
    •         Evaluate concepts¿ or concept subsystems¿ performance and stability.
    •         Help establish concept performance limitations.
    •         Assist in modeling and simulation development of guided weapons systems and concepts.
    •         Software implementation of complex guidance, navigation, and controls algorithms.
    •         Work with a small team of scientists and engineers to model, simulate and study the performance of potential Air Force guided weapon                    systems, concepts and advanced weapon subsystem technologies.
              Document studies and analysis findings via briefings, scientific papers and technical reports.

  • 3 or more years' experience in guidance, navigation, and controls algorithm development and analyses
  • Virtual and Constructive simulation development and the use of these simulations for guided weapon system and concept flight performance predictions.
  • Experience developing and presenting complex technical information via briefings, technical papers and project task reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field required, Advance degree desired.
  • Scientific programming experience required. Programming experience with C. C++, Matlab and/or Simulink code development.
  • Understanding of digital signal processing techniques
  • Eligibility for secret security clearance required.The ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
