Hurlburt Field, FL is home to the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Headquarters and the 11th Special Operations Intelligence Squadron (SOIS). The 11th SOIS provides tailored full-motion video processing, exploitation and dissemination for special operations forces engaged in both combat and non-combat operations worldwide. It is located in Okaloosa County, Florida, immediately west of the Town of Mary Esther. It is part of the greater Eglin Air Force Base reservation. The installation is nearly 6,700 acres, and employs nearly 8,000 military personnel.
Job Description, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Support planning and integration of new and existing intelligence collection, exploitation, reporting, dissemination, and evaluation capabilities into AFSOC Distributed Ground Station (DGS)/intelligence units and shall provide implementation of these warfighting capabilities through direct support to AFSOC. This includes integration of data from intelligence collection, fusion, correlation, and dissemination systems related to UAS-RPA, manned, satellite systems, and surface/ground collection platforms, conducting ISR operations. The candidate will provide experienced imagery analysis support for full motion video (FMV), electro-optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), infrared (IR) imagery and any future imagery sensors which may be employed in support of AFSOC PED operations. The candidate will conduct imagery exploitation and shall generate voice and textual reports IAW mission reporting requirements. In addition, produce and disseminate tailored, imagery-based products (e.g. stills, 360 analytical products, vehicle/personnel follows, video clips) in response to mission requirement and provide these products to the government. Responsibility for validating and releasing imagery based products resides with the government.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Entry level and Experienced intelligence/imagery analysts
9 years of Intelligence analysis or Airborne Sensor Operator experience with a HS Diploma, or
8 years of Intelligence analysis or Airborne Sensor Operator experience with an Associate's degree, or
7 years of Intelligence analysis or Airborne Sensor Operator experience with an Bachelor's degree
Possess the ability to fully understand full motion video exploitation
Pass course of instruction to be certified mission ready to sit operational PED crew position
Shift work required (12.5hr shifts): Panama Schedule (2on, 2off, 3on, 2off, 2on, 3off), rotates between night shift and day shift quarterly (every 3 months).
