Job Description

The Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Subject Matter Expert will support the full scope of ISR operations and capabilities development of modeling and simulation of manned and unmanned terrestrial, maritime surface and sub-surface, airborne, and space-based sensors and systems and the associated tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) and supporting architectures. The development of methodologies, metrics, processes, and databases to assess ISR capabilities, utilization, and deployment will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

  • Provide guidance to developers in creating ISR 3D game assets, to include models and terrain development.
  • Work with design leads to create various levels of detail for each model as well as possible damage states for each.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 yrs of experience.

In some cases educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Mandatory Qualifications for the ISR Modeling and Simulation SME:

  • Knowledge of  military ISR architectures and systems
  • Familiar with ISR collection requirements using sensors to include Full Motion Video (FMV), Multi-INT, Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), National Technical Means, (NTM), Electro-Optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and how the same relates to DoD collection operations, platforms, and sensors
  • Demonstrated experience with the following: IC, DoD, and global ISR intelligence disciplines such as GEOINT; Collection Requirements Management and associated software tools
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills that enable them to articulate requirements and procedures, convey tasking, and exchange information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Relevant current/operational experience, defined as within the past five (5) years,
  • Environmental, system, and architecture modeling
  • Methods to extract, transform and load data from a variety of ISR Web Services for modeling and analysis; and
  • Experience conducting technical reviews of analysis output products including briefings and papers.

Security:  Must possess a TS and have SCI eligibility
