Responsibilities/Qualification

The JTLS/JCATS Project Manager (PM) provides recommendations on enhancements to, requirements for, and prioritization of technical development processes and services from JTLS, JCATS and the JTSE. The Project Manager also maintains configuration management and status of JCATS and JTLS within DDJT; tracks their use outside DDJT; conducts user group meetings, Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and IWGs as directed by the JTSE PM; and schedules, coordinates, and conducts Alpha, Beta and validation testing as required. The Project Manager monitors exercise Trouble Reports within the DDJT Ops exercise program, ensures the development staffs are aware of simulation issues within DDJT, and are providing feedback, troubleshooting help, and patches as required. The Project Manager maintains awareness of external trouble reports and discuss their impacts with DDJT to prioritize development funding and development issues. Two of the most critical roles are providing liaison between off-site development staff and the DDJT Cyber Security, Program Management, Environment Development, and Architecture branches and acting as a SME on JCATS and/or JTLS models for customers within DDJT. Creating and delivering the monthly JCATS and JTLS Program Status reports is a primary responsibility.  These reports highlight the results of the work described above.

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience and at least 5 years related experience. Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading skills. 

Must be able to work with little supervision and can take charge of tasks.  Excellent MS Office skills, proficient in Excel. 

Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting.  Effective organizational skills.

Must currently hold and be able to maintain a US Secret clearance.
