Job Description



Responsibilities/Qualification

In support of Program Office, tasking to include acquisition strategies, management plans, and various other documents required for Milestone B Decisions. Also assist in preparation for briefs leading up to Milestone B Decisions and prepare RDAIS inputs.

Assist with acquisition Milestone documentation preparation, review and recommendations.   Prepare schedules and documentation to support upcoming contract actions and Milestones decisions.

Develops procurement initiation documentation, including request memoranda, Statements of Work, supply lists, personnel qualifications, justifications, and modifications.

Tracks and monitors the delivery of hardware or services to the client by monitoring contract ceilings, deliverables, and vouchers. 

Conducts financial trend analysis, life cycle acquisition tracking, including data entry, file maintenance, and data retrieval and reporting functions.

Uses highly complex quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develops risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution. 

Supports customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 8 to 10 years of directly related experience in a government contracting environment.

Experience in leading acquisition support by researching highly complex acquisition requirements, performing market surveys for potential procurement avenues, and analyzing proposals for applicability to stated functional needs.

Experience in determining procurement strategies to effectively meet program needs in accordance with cost, schedule, and technical requirements.

Ability to apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures.
