We're looking for a F-35 Lead Scheduling Analyst to fill one of our requirements supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office in Crystal City, VA.  The F-35 is the premier fighter aircraft on/above the planet and this is an opportunity to work with some of the brightest and most talented acquisition professionals and military officers in the world.  We're building this aircraft for the US Air Force, US Navy and the US Marines as well as numerous international partners and customers.

As the organizational expert in the field, provides high level consultation to management in acquisition support. Researches extremely complex acquisition requirements and works with program managers, engineers and logisticians to determine procurement strategies to effectively meet program needs in accordance with cost, schedule, and technical requirements.

DUTIES:

Senior Schedulers provide schedule analysis support to the Cost and EVM IPT. The Air Vehicle Senior Scheduler analyzes scheduling practices and understands the health of the IMS. The analyst works with EVM Analysts to relate schedule and cost variances and to generate analysis reports and provide critical issues to F-35 leadership. The analyst also assists in supporting program office leads and management by providing critical results for EAC forecasts.

Tracks and monitors the delivery of hardware or services to the client by monitoring contract ceilings, deliverables, and vouchers.

Provides expertise in financial trend analysis, life cycle acquisition tracking, including data entry, file maintenance, and data retrieval and reporting functions.

Uses highly complex quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develops risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution.

Prepares documentation, reports, and project plans to describe activities planned and accomplished, status reports, letters, memoranda, messages, and contact reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.A or B.S. in Business, Management, Engineering, or other quantitative field and 10-15 years of experience

Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience

Expert knowledge of government or other contracting environment relating to technical, scientific and analytic services, and identification of new business opportunities.

Expert knowledge of the defense acquisition process and ability to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures.

Seven (7) years of relevant Acquisition Program experience, all seven (7) of those years in Schedule Analysis on MDAP or other industry equivalent.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel and PowerPoint, and Project.

Demonstrated experience presenting to Flag Officers and Senior Civilians.

Mastery of scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent toolset.
