Alion Science and Technology is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of a Life Cycle Management Analyst for their Advanced Modeling and Simulation Technical Operation. This person would be responsible for assisting in the support of software life cycle management for the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program. Under the direction of the leadership team, this person would be responsible for the following areas:
- Work laterally with other departments to plan and execute LCM software/hardware activities
- Review every Bill Of Material (BOM) to ensure software/hardware will be captured on the budget for renewal the follow out years, as well as track licenses that are purchased by the NCTE
- Maintain the NCTE software/hardware inventory database
- Assist in maintaining information in the DON Application and Database Management System (DADMS) and DoD IT Portfolio Repository – Department of Navy (DITPR-DON)
- Maintain a current list of software/hardware licenses for NCTE
- Identify and document the expiration dates of licenses and software/hardware maintenance agreements
- Identify and document the procurement dates for NCTE software/hardware
- Track and report the status of LCM software initiated procurement activities
- Identify, document, and report all warranty and service agreement expiration dates for NCTE equipment
- Identify specific cyclic software/hardware actions for NCTE equipment and systems
- Assist in the implementation and building of controls for a software/hardware inventory
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors in related field with 2 years of work experience, or Masters and 0 years of experience. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 6 years of applicable work experience.
- Direct experience with Life Cycle Management and Logistics activities
- Familiarity with various types of hardware and software licensing agreements
- Good knowledge of Configuration Management concepts
- Demonstrated ability to guide and influence others in a complex organization
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction
- Great communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
Must be a US Citizen, currently hold or able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
