Position Summary
The candidate will ensure correspondence and deliverables are in accordance with Alion's Quality Assurance Program.  This includes the Corporate Document Management System (CDMS), Windchill Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and any other project deliverable documentation. 

Candidates will perform various CDMS and IDE folder structure development such as creating and removing of folders, uploading of ILS and Fleet Plans and Program Office approval letters.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide Logistics support for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Construction Managers.  The candidate will be the primary point of contact for all ILS Management Team (ILSMT), Logistics Support Assessments (LSA) and other various ILS meetings. 
  • Coordinate with the Support Team Leader to define/capture any ILS issues and to be prepared to respond during ILSMTs and Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA)/LSA etc. 
  • Interface between Customer ILS Manager and the Alion Team Leader related to overall ILS support.  This included interfacing with the extended team members supporting the Program including the shipbuilder, local Supervisor of Shipbuilding, NSWC CD/NSWC PD, SPAWAR, NAVSUP WSS, and NNSY.
  • Candidate will support the customer by delivering the following products/services.  Prepare, review and assist in the coordination for LSA and ILSMT meeting support materials including agendas, presentations and action Items. 
  • Coordinate with program stakeholders on delinquent items.  Prepare draft meeting minutes and track action items in support of LSA, ILSMT and other ILS-related meetings as required. 
  • Manage, update and distribute the bi-weekly Team action item database.  Prepare internal Government correspondence for client’s review/approval. 
  • Post signed Government approved letters, ILSMT packages and final ILS Plans to CDMS and IDE as required. 
  • Coordinate with the Team Leader with resolving of all ILA findings and observations, prior to submission to the customer for comment/review and/or final approval.  Participate in Logistics Risk Management Brainstorming Meetings.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline plus at least 2 years of directly related experience.
  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for comparable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Familiarity with DOD acquisition process.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance after employment.
