Responsibilities/Qualification

As the organizational expert in the field, consults with management in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective and economical support for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems. Includes the gathering and analysis of information on highly complex product plans and project objectives, providing tracking and status reports, and support for ensuring distribution and delivery commitments.

Conduct analyses of the maintenance supportability impact the Extended Range Cannon Artillery (ERCA) weapon will have on legacy/existing and conceptual ammunition. This will included the impact on the following logistics elements :  Design Interface Maintenance Planning Manpower and Personnel Supply Support;  Support Equipment; Technical Data; Packaging Handling and Transportation; Training and Training Support; Computer Resources; Facilities; Product Support  Management; and  Sustaining Engineering.

Provide technical assumptions on the feasibility of pre-fuzing rounds and the impact it will have on the above mentioned elements.

Analyze the impact the use of stub case/charges will have on ethe user, weapon and ammunition supply chain.

Knowledgeable of the rapid changes to the program via a constant review of the available technical data and by participating in weekly IPT meetings to the make adjustments to the above stated analysis as needed.

Provide liason support with technical subject matter experts to ensure maintenance nalyses are clearly and concisely articulated.

Prepares and presents reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings to management and customers as needed.

Leads technical discussions at project review sessions and in negotiations with the customer.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Ammunition malfunction investigation experience preferred.

Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering; Acquisitons Logistics Engineering; Six Sigma
