Job Description

Alion Science and Technology is looking for a Lead Logistics Support Analyst to spearhead the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective and economical support for integration and evaluation of U.S. Air Force KC-46 Depot level repair requirements, with a focus on Dev Pac development for the KC-46 fleet.

The applicant will work with the AFLCMC/ WKCF to gather all relevant repair data and component drawings, review all work documents, identify T.O. and spare part requirements, as well as all special tools, equipment, and consumables; and gather all other pertinent information necessary for developing/updating the KC-46 Depot work card requirements. The applicant will also be required to gather and analyze information for project objectives, providing tracking and status reports, and support for ensuring distribution and delivery commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides acquisition logistic support including sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of the system's components through review of KC-46 Depot Maintenance requirements and Depot processes and work cards. 

Reviews records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on Depot work card requirements; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support lifecycle of KC-46 fleet.  

Reviews, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures for the KC-46 Depot at Tinker AFB.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline plus at least 10 years of directly related experience or a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Experience using Adobe Professional, Microsoft office suite to include Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of the Federal Supply/Part and Technical Order Systems as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.

Must have an understanding of large Aircraft depot Repair/work processes.

Must have large aircraft system/ structural knowledge.

A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
