Maintenance Supervisor
- Establish standards for maintenance documentation that will allow trend analysis that can be used to incorporate predictive maintenance practices resulting in decreased equipment downtime, while increasing mission capability.
- Develop successful applications of advanced predictive testing and inspection technologies to maximize significant cost savings for planned maintenance activities.
- Suggest and improve equipment utilization and provide for increased equipment up time while minimizing equipment failures.
- Provide leadership, training and coordination to nurture a culture of reliability centered maintenance philosophy which permeates at all staffing levels and which enhances the entire maintenance program.
- Point of contact for all maintenance activities on the range.
- Responsible for requesting and scheduling maintenance activities and coordinating with department leads, site manager and government counter parts.
- Will track and document all maintenance functions to include configuration management, change requests, corrective actions, and service outages.
- Provide scheduling, status, and coordination functions within the company, the government and other contractors for projects assigned to the group.
- Providing technical direction to technicians, engineers, inspectors, contractors, and other in the maintenance, repair, remanufacture, troubleshooting, and operation of assigned systems on a continuing or real time basis.
- Manage a team of maintenance personnel, such as generator mechanics, job control specialists, electricians, or other positions that would be classified under the maintenance department
- Preparing cost analysis and engineering trade—off studies to assist with determining means of effecting cost reductions
- Coordination of troubleshooting, failure analysis, corrective actions.
- Supervise a team of subordinate employees assigned to the maintenance department.
- Improve and maintenance plan control documentation, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving task hazard analyst documentation before high-risk maintenance efforts are undergone by the maintenance team.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Project Management or 10+ years’ experience of maintenance efforts on Military DoD Ranges.
- Maximo Experience
- Change Management and configuration management experience
- Prior management of teams of five or more subordinates
- SharePoint, MS Office
