Staff in this position apply technical principles, theories, and concepts; develops solutions to problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity. This person in this position designs, develops, and tests all aspects of components. He or she has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. He or she relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. He or she works under immediate supervision. His or her primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment, and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

  • Bachelor¿s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with hardware design.
  • Experience performing hands-on assembly of and modifications to electromechanical systems.
  • Experience analyzing functions, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical, and effective solutions.
  • Active Government Security Clearance at Top Secret with recent access to SCI required.
