Staff in this position apply a wide range of principles, theories, and concepts to provide imaginative and thorough solutions to difficult problems. This person in this position designs, develops, and tests all aspects of components and some systems. He or she is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. He or she relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. He or she performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

       
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  •    
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience.

  •    
  • Experience with hardware design.

  •    
  • Experience performing hands-on assembly of and modifications to electromechanical systems.

  •    
  • Experience analyzing functions, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical, and effective solutions.

  •    
  • Active Government Security Clearance at Secret or above with investigation/reinvestigation within 5 yrs required.
