Job Description


Duties (include but not limited to):

• Research of designated systems/components to facilitate identification and analysis of sustainment and supply chain issues associated with complex aviation platforms and associated support systems;

• Generate and report DMSMS and/or obsolescence metrics to Department of Defense customer’s;

• Provide DMSMS and Obsolescence management program support for Department of Defense;

• Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers, NAVICP and DLA to resolve DMSMS and obsolescence issues;

• Track parts cost;

• Provide overall support to the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages management effort for selected Department of Defense customers.


High School diplomia or equivilent is required, some college prefered.

• (2) years of experience with equipment maintenance, logistics, Inventory tracking or management is required.

• Experience with Electronic systems or other Mechanical Systems, supply chain experience is desired.

• Demonstrated experience with DMSMS concepts and proficiency with DMSMS mitigation processes and collaborative tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of DMSMS concepts.

• Knowledgeable of project management policies and procedures.

• Knowledgeable of logistics processes and procedures to include performing technical and logistical analysis and assisting with repair concepts.

• Exposure to engineering practices and operational safety, suitability and effectiveness (OSS&E)

• Exposure to drawing and specifications analysis interpretation

• Proficiency in computers and software applications, including the latest versions of Microsoft Office, Project and SharePoint.

• Knowledge of metrics and statistics for tracking

• This position requires a self-starter who requires limited oversight.

• Excellent reading, writing and interpersonal skills are desired.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with Government and other Contractor personnel.

US Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
