The JTSE-Alion Contract Support Team provides management and development expertise to the JS J7 DDJT JTSE modernization efforts by sustaining JLVC and developing the JTT system. The contract support team comprises four teams: Software Development, Data, Cyber/Infrastructure/System Administration, and Requirements/Test and Evaluation.

Position Description

Lead the Requirements Section is a part of the Requirements/Test and Evaluation Team in support of JS J7 DDJT Environment Operations Division (EOD) and assisting elements of the JTSE-Alion Program supporting JS J7 DDJT Environment Architecture Division (EAD).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide extremely high-level subject matter expertise regarding joint training, the joint event life cycle, and CCMD constructive simulation exercises to identify, categorize, and conduct analysis that examines operational and training gaps, requirements, and needs.
  • Conduct user engagements and represent the user community in discussions with EAD and software developers concerning design and functionality.
  • Plan, coordinate, conduct, and document several JS J7 DDJT coordination boards, working groups, and planning teams that support and advance the joint training community of interest and capability development efforts.
  • Facilitate information sharing to enable JS J7 DDJT divisions to achieve synchronization regarding requirements and configuration management.
  • Design and prepare reports, papers, and related documentation; organize information and record results using the Agile Method collaborative tools Jira and Confluence on the Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E); and, prepare and deliver presentations and briefings for senior leaders and managers.

Education and Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree and 10 years of experience with analyzing DoD joint or Service training related projects in organizational efficiencies, operations, procedures, protocols, or risks or MA or MS degree and 8 years of experience with analyzing DoD joint or Service training related projects in organizational efficiencies, operations, procedures, protocols, or risks

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with supporting efforts to integrate disparate systems.
  • Ability to identify potential interoperability or compatibility issues.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with identifying and translating between capability requirements, functional requirements, and user requirements.

A minimum of SECRET security clearance is required. TS/SCI highly desired.
