Job Description



Responsibilities/Qualification

Provides financial analyst services to civil, defense and national security government agencies, including data gathering, budget and financial analysis, and trend analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
  • Collects and reviews financial data from various sources.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required. Maintains appropriate records and documentation.
  • Provides financial models and financial statements, applies forecasting techniques, and evaluates performance against budget submissions.
  • Communicates timely and accurate program status updates to all clients as required.
  • Makes recommendations to management to improve the financial performance of the organization.
  • Identifies and resolves moderately complex problems as well as to prevent future problems.articipates in the preparation of cost proposals.
  • Ensures compliance with federal regulations and agency or client specific policies.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of directly related experience preferably in a government contracting environment.
  • Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • At minmium, an active Confidential security clearance is required for employment. A Secret Clearance is preferred.
  • Forecasting concepts.Knowledge of financial, accounting, and for
  • Knowledge of DAR, FAR, and other relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
