Responsible for planning and executing various operations and activities of the U.S. Army's Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC). Manage operations to ensure actions/tasks are coordinated, staffed, and properly executed throughout GVSC guaranteeing timely, cohesive and accurate execution.
Responsible for receiving and responding to Requests for Information (RFI), official tasks, and operations orders from external organizations. Responsible for coordinating, obtaining concurrence and completing all specified and implied tasks in a timely fashion. Must staff tasks, track responses, and report outcomes and final responses to originating higher headquarters.
Provide information, analysis and recommendations within commander’s intent to leadership for actions and decisions. Must be able to conduct staff analysis, develop courses of action, recommend courses of action, develop an execution plan, coordinate efforts, identify and assign tasks and oversee execution of all operations in GVSC.

Responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities for a large operation led by a high level officer. Maintains the smooth flow of work for high ranking Government officials. Provides support for all facets of information management including executive office management, human resource management, program management, budget and manpower, event and conference planning.
Provides high quality service in multiple functional areas which may include finance, proposals, pricing, contracting, and human resources.
Interfaces and coordinates with key client personnel within the operation and may act as a liaison with staff or administrative personnel in other operations as necessary.
Assembles and analyzes complex and often confidential information or data and develops reports.
Manages client server administrator support and policy guidance for all information management functions.
Maintains web pages.
Analyzes, interprets, and provides data on technical matters concerning command policy and makes recommendations to the Directorate.
Coordinates complex and important corporate projects and logistical details to ensure smooth operation of the department.
Represents the department on administrative matters both internally and externally.
Ensures appropriate policies, processes and procedures are in place to facilitate prompt service delivery.
Ensures effective quality control/assurance measures are in place. Recommends process improvement changes.
Stays abreast of developments in each functional field.
Maintains knowledge of applicable rules and regulations, both internal and external (State, Federal, FAR DFARS, etc.).
Provides excellent customer service to clients.
Complies with security procedures and may serve as deputy on security matters.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Adept at multi-tasking and in meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The candidate must be able to obtain and hold a SECRET clearance.
