Alion Science and Technology is looking for a summer intern to support the Organizational Development team for their Advanced Modeling and Simulation Technical Operation. This team’s purpose is to set the organization up for success through the establishment and delivery of effective workforce development programs.
Under the direction of the leadership team, this person would assist with projects related to:
- Assessing training needs for new and existing employees
- Assessing effectiveness of training by developing, delivering and tracking training surveys
- Developing training material
- Tracking completion of training modules
- Developing new career development programs
- Enhancing current training initiatives
- Aligning employee lifecycle models to training strategy
- Researching external training that would benefit the workforce
- Enterprise communications
- Performance tracking and management
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in college or university, pursuing a degree in a field related to Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or Business.
- Highly prefer college students who are rising Juniors or above in their academic program
- Highly prefer experience in developing training content
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both in a team and individually
- Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
